XEdit_GetText问题

请我 我有一个 新建一个m_pChatMsgEdit元素（XEdit_Create）
在里面输入文字，然后点击另一控件想获取EditA里的内容，
调用
XEdit_GetText(m_pChatMsgEdit, m_ChatMsgStruct.m_ChatMsg, m_ChatMsgStruct.m_ChatLen);

发现这里调用API失败，程序当掉。
请我是什么问题呢？
通过调试发现m_ChatMsgStruct.m_ChatMsg获取正确，但是m_ChatMsgStruct.m_ChatLen很大。
