Diablo 4 Season 15 rewards players who time their rewards, Splinter swaps, and crafting choices instead of pushing every system the moment it appears. Your Diablo 4 Items matter, but so does knowing which activity deserves your best setup. A fast leveling loadout, a durable Hell Prime Evil build, and a Pit-focused setup should not look identical. Treat the season as a series of targets, not one long gear chase.
When Should You Claim Seasonal Quest Rewards
Do not rush the seasonal questline just because it is available. Baal guarantees Loric's Crown, and the questline also gives a Stone of Jordan. These rewards scale with your character level, so claiming them too early can leave you with item power that feels weak once you reach serious endgame content.
The practical call is simple: level first, then claim the rewards when they can arrive at a useful power level. A Loric's Crown obtained before Level 70 may land far below what you want for later farming. That does not ruin a character, since Hell Prime Evil encounters can offer another Crown later, but it is still better not to create the problem in the first place.
How to Farm Hell Prime Evils at Torment 10
At Torment 10 and above, Hell Prime Evils become one of the best repeatable targets for players chasing Ancestral equipment, Mythic items, and seasonal crafting materials. Their red portals signal a much harsher version of the encounter, yet you can repeat them without the usual resource cost. That makes consistency more valuable than a reckless damage setup.
Baal and Mephisto are the stronger choices for focused farming. Baal's dungeon is shorter and his wave sequence is easier to repeat at pace. Diablo can still be worthwhile, but his multi-phase portal sections slow down runs. Build around survival first: these fights deliver heavy burst damage, and melee characters often need more defensive investment than they use in ordinary Torment content.
Which Prime Evil Splinter Should You Equip
Splinter of Destruction is the progression pick while levels, Runes, and faster seasonal advancement are your priority. Its Undercity experience-orb bonuses, Monster Power benefits, Lair Boss Rune drops, and Nemesis Portal opportunities all support a character that is still building momentum. Fast Waking Nightmare dungeons and elite-heavy routes also help you reach its full Seasonal Rank 18 benefits sooner.
Once Glyph upgrades and high Pit clears become the goal, move to Splinter of Hatred. Its value comes from improving the first two Pit nodes and raising the effective reward scaling of your clear. That can make a completed Pit feel more rewarding for Glyph growth without forcing you to clear a higher tier. Hatred also adds useful effects tied to Nightmare Dungeon bosses, Treasure Chests, Vulnerable application, and Ghost of Odium progression orbs.
Splinter of Lies has a place for pure experience farming, but the permanent Weakened and Vulnerable penalties are a serious liability against Hell Prime Evils. Use it while speed matters most, then swap before difficult boss farming. For Loric's Crown sockets, favor defensive effects, attack speed, critical chance, or Black Soul Stone effects rather than experience-focused choices.
How Horadric Cube Runewords Help During Progression
Runewords give Season 15 characters a practical answer to weak gear slots. Stealth is the early standout: Tal and E Runes plus a white chest armor base produce a flexible piece with Maximum Life, attack speed, movement speed, damage reduction, and other helpful stats. Since its Affixes can be rerolled, it can stay useful longer than a temporary leveling item usually would.
That is especially handy for alternate characters. Instead of waiting for perfect drops, make a functional chest piece and keep moving. Enigma, Prudence, Lure, Rain, and Call to Arms are also worth checking when a build has a clear missing stat. Call to Arms deserves attention for Shout-focused Barbarian setups because added skill ranks can solve a real build problem.
Where to Spend Resin and Gold in Season 15
Do not throw Resin at every Charm or Seal that looks almost good. Seal value rerolls change numbers, not the underlying Affixes, so they are best used on an item that already has the right foundation. Horadric Talisman rerolls are different because they can replace the base Affixes entirely, which makes them a better choice for serious endgame attempts. Unique Charms can also reward high unique-power rolls for builds that depend on them.
Gold follows the same rule. Buy or craft the upgrade that lets you clear your current target reliably, then stop chasing tiny gains. Keeping resources back is smart when you are testing several setups or waiting for a better drop.
Final Thoughts
Start Season 15 by leveling without claiming scaled rewards too soon, use Destruction for growth, then shift to Hatred for Pit and Glyph work. Build enough defense before repeating Hell Prime Evils, and let Runewords cover weak slots rather than overspending on temporary gear. Finally, save Resin and Gold for items with real long-term potential; after that, stock up on diablo 4 mats for sale only when your next upgrade has a clear purpose.
